I tried oil on some clayboard samples I had. It is similar to gessobord, anybody know if there is a reason they don't list oils as a medium for these boards? It seemed to work ok for me.

Here is another one of those scenes I keep going back to to repaint. Schoodic Point, one of the most beautiful spots in Acadia, Maine. This painting is a little bright, I have a problem with the colors looking too intense when I post paintings. Not quite as orange in real life.

This is a larger painting I have been working on. Reflections of water, abstracted. I hope to continue with this series, I have a number of images ready if I can make my days and weeks longer! The colors are close, but photographing this was a little difficult in the lighting I had available.
