  1. I like the brush work in this one. I hope your "doggie" is better. I agree with you that if you don't stay with a painting you lose ground fast. you mentioned before that we both like Mike Svob's work. When I need a push, I re visit his book (weird title) "Paint Red Hot Landscapes that sell" I don't know if you have seen it, but it is worth a buy. He simplifys values in a way no one else does. Also, he shows us not to be afraid of color. One of my biggest causes of procrastination in starting a painting is fear. He puts the process in a step by step form that seems to work for me. And aren't his paintings incredible!
