Flower Path

11 x 14 Pastel on paper (framed size 16 x 20)
sold

I did an oil painting of this scene a while ago, and just redid it in pastel for a show I entered. It is from a local flower farm, and a favorite of mine. We had a bonus day here today, low 80's and lots of sun. Just one day like this, so we savor them when they come. Tomorrow, back down in the 60's, these flower gardens are fading, but the colored leaves will take their place!

  1. This has such a sense of joy to it, and I love the slow curve of the path that leads me right into this beautiful painting.
