Through the Birches

9 x 12 Oil on gessobord

This is a painting I did a while ago and am moving from my old oil blog site. I eventually will move all those posts over and close it down. This is appropriate for the time of year, it actually looks like this today, gray, almost leafless and a little dismal! Look forward to sunny days ahead!

  2. You have an interesting style, Mary Anne. Do you work on a black ground? If so, what black do you use? Very striking.

  3. Mary Anne. This is just gorgeous. I love the rhythm in the birch trees and the twigs in behind. They look like they're dancing.

  4. This reminds me of light coming thru a beautiful stained-glass window. Nice job!
