Southwest Harbor 3

10 x 10 Oil on canvas board   SOLD
This is a painting I did back in August, 2010 and painted over and retouched. I never really liked it, but I have to have a couple 10 x 10s for a show. I don't have a lot of paintings that size, so, I decided to rework this. I like it much better now. Take a look and compare if you have the time, and give me your critique!

Maine Landscape #1

6 x 8 Oil on canvas board SOLD
purchase info @ etsy buzzie2 or icon on right

I thought I would join in the 100 painting club, and do a series of 100 landscape paintings. I won't post them exclusively, I will still mix others in between. But I found I like this 6 x 8 size and figured it would be a good challenge and a similar body of work. I am, however, definitely experimenting with some larger sizes as well, I don't want to stick with only minis! Hope you will enjoy following my Maine landscapes, I will never tire of those!

Caribbean Day

11 x 14 Oil on canvas board

I am happy with this painting, one of those that clicked, but I wish the photo could show the brushwork a little better. Sometimes the photo just doesn't do it justice.

Chris on the Rocks

8 x 10 Oil on canvas panel
NFS

This was an attempt to stay loose and painterly, not 100% there, but getting there. I've always had trouble with rocks, but I think the quick brush strokes worked for them.

Cove Rocks

6 x 6 Oil on board
Please email for info

I finally took time yesterday for a little painting that was for shear pleasure and not a deadline.
I can't wait to do more. Most of my work lately has had time restrictions, and I also just completed a wet paint auction I helped run for our local land trust. It was a huge success with great artists. We raised a lot of money and people were actually bidding high!!!! There is hope!
