This is from a recent trip to the southwest. Such a contrast to Maine landscape, not only because of all the colored rock. The expanse is breathtaking with sweeping, open vistas filled with light.

I am finding shapes and colors fascinating and endless, but have not figured out exactly the approach I want to take. This first I think is an exercise in exploring.
