Reconstructed

I worked on a deconstructed series a while back. This is taking and old painting and reworking it, or "recontructimg" it. This is way more successful than first time around. It reminds me of a vase with bursting flowers.

Listening to some really good jazz in my studio, must have been the inspiration for experimenting and playing with paint. I let the paint do the dancing, and this is the result. I am happy with the results! The flowers are peonies...
